Rise up Marvel and hero-based shooter fans, a new game is coming! Marvel Rivals has been officially announced by Marvel Games and NetEase, bringing a super hero, team-based PvP shooter our way very soon!
What is Marvel Rivals?
With it being a brand new game, you may be asking yourself – What exactly is Marvel Rivals? And that’s a good question!
Marvel Rivals is a new 6v6 PvP hero-based shooter that’s all about using unique heroes with a variety of skills to take down the enemy team and complete objectives. If you’re a fan of the genre, it’s essentially Marvel’s take on games like Team Fortress, Overwatch, and Paladins.
The key difference between Marvel Rivals and those games is that this game is 6v6, third person, and features destructible maps. It’s also, of course, based in the Marvel universe, allowing you to explore iconic MU locations and play as famous Marvel heroes!
When is Marvel Rivals Coming Out?
While we’re all excited to get our hands on the game, there is unfortunately no release date just yet. However, there is an alpha coming up, which is set to start in May 2024.
How to Get Marvel Rivals Alpha Access?
If you want to play Marvel Rivals early, your best bet is to get into the alpha. At the moment, there are very limited ways to do that, with all that’s really been shared being a form to fill out. If you want access you’ll have to fill out the form and keep your fingers crossed.
